Dream : Captured and Escaped

Dream : Captured and Escaped

Captured and Escaped

This dream started with me being in the 1980s, an era full of criminals, and at a railway station. I was there with a group of people waiting for a train, and we were running late. Sadly, we missed the train. Then, one of person from that group suggested that we should take a shortcut that would only take thirty minutes, and we will be able to catch the train at the next station. However, this shortcut led us into a trap where we were kidnapped by people with sinister intentions.

That person led us to an under-construction building, where another individual was already waiting for us. He told us that we could stay in the building for some time because the train was running late, but in reality, they kidnapped us. They then took us one by one to another room, where something unknown was done to each of us. We were given food only once a day, and they contacted our family members for ransom. When they asked me to contact someone from my family so they could ask for money, I gave them my brother's phone number. Eventually, my brother came, and together we planned our escape.

We started by attacking each security guard one by one. We put on clothes belonging to one of the security guards and pretended to be part of their group, claiming to have come from another cell block. Finally, we attacked the leader of these crooks and ran away into another part of the under-construction building site.

Dream Analysis/Reflection:

This dream could be associated with anxiety and urgency that I may have experienced in real life as a result of deadlines or other pressures. The abduction sequence could represent feeling stuck or manipulated by outer forces. The eventual escape with my sibling indicates the value of family bonds.
