A Magical School Dream

I can clearly remember one of my dreams from my highschool years. It was a warm sunny day of spring. The sky was a brilliant blue, and the air was filled with the sound of birds chirping. Everything seemed more vivid than usual, like I was stepping into a painting.

As I approached the school building, I noticed it looked different—more like a castle than a typical high school. The walls were made of gleaming stone, and ivy climbed up the sides. A huge wooden door stood open, inviting me inside.
I entered and found myself in a grand hallway with marble floors and chandaliers hanging from the ceiling.

Students ran around, but they were all wearing medieval-style clothing—tunics, gowns, and cloaks. I looked down and realized I was dressed in a similar outfit, complete with a fancy belt and red boots.
It was strange, but no one seemed to think anything was out of the ordinary.

My best friend appeared beside me, grinning. "Come on," she said, "we're going to be late for potions class." She grabbed my hand, and we raced down the hallway, past classrooms that looked like something out of a fairy tale.

We finally arrived at the potions classroom, which was more like a laboratory filled with cauldrons and shelves lined with mysterious ingredients. The teacher was actually my chemistry teacher and she gave me an old book. ''Today you will learn how to fly!
All you need to do is follow the instructions from this book"
I gathered my ingredients :dragon scales, phoenix feathers, and a sparkling liquid that looked like liquid gold. As I mixed them together, the potion began to glow. My friend and I looked at each other with excitment in our eyes.
We each took a sip, and suddenly, we were floating off the ground, hovering above the classroom.

We flew out the window and soared over the school grounds, laughing and spinning through the air. The world below looked small and far away, and I felt completely free.
We flew over the city which was being lit by lanterns instead of the usual city lights. I flew over my home, which appeared more welcoming then ever.

When I opened the door of my house, I woke up. I was saddened by the sudden wake up.
I felt even more disappointed when i looked out my bed room window and saw that it was raining and I was late for chemistry. But the feeling of freedom and magic stayed with me, making the day at school feel a little more special
