I've been having a recurring dream where I'm stuck in an elevator, sometimes alone and other times with people I know. It's always tense, and I wake up feeling uneasy. Could this represent feeling trapped in a certain life situation or anxiety about moving up in life? Has anyone else had a similar recurring dream about elevators? I'd love to hear what others think this might mean.

Getting trapped in an elevator is such a common nightmare for me! I wake up feeling so relieved it wasn’t real. Anyone else get this?

I do! It makes me feel claustrophobic even after I wake up. I think it’s a reflection of feeling trapped in certain areas of life.

I always feel helpless in those dreams. I think it’s my mind’s way of highlighting things I can’t control.
