I keep having nightmares where I’m trapped in water – sometimes I’m drowning, other times I’m surrounded by dark, deep water. It’s terrifying and I wake up feeling panicked. I wonder if there’s a reason for this theme in my nightmares. Has anyone else had similar dreams, and what do you think they might mean?

Water in dreams can be so powerful! I often dream about drowning, and it leaves me feeling anxious when I wake up.

I feel like water represents our emotions. Maybe these nightmares are a way to process something we’re struggling with.
