I sometimes experience sleep paralysis, and it’s really scary. I can’t move or speak, and I see shadows or figures in the room. It’s like a waking nightmare. Does anyone have any tips for dealing with this? Is there a way to prevent it or to calm yourself down when it happens? I’m starting to dread going to sleep because of it.

Sleep paralysis is terrifying! I’ve had a few episodes where I felt like something was sitting on my chest. It’s so hard to wake up.

I always try to focus on moving my toes first when I wake up during sleep paralysis. It helps me break free!
