I often realize I’m dreaming, but the excitement wakes me up almost instantly. I’ve tried telling myself to stay calm, but it’s still hard to control my emotions. Does anyone have any tips or techniques for staying relaxed once you become lucid? I’d love to be able to explore my dreams more without getting too excited and waking up!

I find that focusing on my breath helps a lot during lucid dreams. If I start to feel excited, I just take a deep breath and remind myself to relax.

Using a mantra can also help. I tell myself to stay calm whenever I realize I’m dreaming. It’s a bit tricky, but it’s worth it!
