During my last lucid dream, I felt like I was stuck in the dream for a long time, and it started to get a bit uncomfortable. I knew I was dreaming but couldn’t wake myself up. Has anyone else felt like this? How do you know when it’s time to wake up, and what’s the best way to exit a lucid dream without feeling trapped?

Sometimes I feel like I’m in a lucid dream for too long. It can get overwhelming. I try to set a time limit in my mind before I sleep.

I agree! It’s easy to lose track of time. I usually wake up when I start to feel anxious, which helps me know it’s time to exit.
