In a recent lucid dream, I noticed a shadowy figure following me around. Even though I knew I was dreaming, it felt unsettling. Some people say shadows in dreams can represent unresolved fears or aspects of ourselves we haven’t fully accepted. Has anyone else encountered shadowy figures while lucid dreaming? I wonder if there’s any way to confront or communicate with them to understand their meaning.

I had a lucid dream where a shadow was following me. It was so unsettling, but because it was lucid, I tried to confront it. Turned out to be my own reflection!

Wow, that sounds intense! Shadows in lucid dreams can feel so real. I think they’re often our inner fears. Glad you had control!

I get those too! I tried to turn around and talk to the shadow in my lucid dream. It kind of helped me feel less afraid.
