The Ethics of Lucid Dream Experiments - (October 13, 2024, 07:40:15 AM)

I've been diving deep into lucid dreaming, and it's amazing what we can do in our dreams. But lately, I've been wondering about the ethics of it all. Like, is it okay to manipulate dream characters or create scenarios that would be unethical in real life? I'm curious what you all think about this. Do you have any personal rules or boundaries for your lucid dreams? Have you ever done something in a lucid dream that made you feel uncomfortable when you woke up? I'd love to hear your thoughts on balancing the freedom of lucid dreaming with personal ethics. How do you decide what's okay and what's off-limits in your dream adventures?

I’ve never thought about ethics in lucid dreams, but it makes sense. Even though it’s just a dream, could certain experiments affect your waking mind?

That’s an interesting topic! I guess even dreams have moral lines we might not want to cross. It could be worth considering how far we go in experiments.

I wonder if experimenting in lucid dreams could have real psychological effects, especially if it feels too real. Ethics definitely matter here.
