We all know that lack of sleep is bad for our health, but what happens when we are deprived of dreams specifically? I’ve read a bit about how REM sleep is important, and I’m curious if anyone knows more about what happens if you don’t dream for a long period of time. Does it affect your mental state or memory?

I’ve heard that not getting enough REM sleep can really mess with your mood and memory. It’s kind of scary to think about what happens if you don’t dream for a while.

I wonder if missing out on dreams is why people sometimes wake up feeling groggy even after a full night of sleep. Dreams might be more important than we realize.

I’ve definitely noticed that when I don’t dream much, I feel more stressed. It’s like my brain didn’t get to fully “reset.” Interesting topic!
