Nightmares can be terrifying and leave us feeling unsettled long after we wake up. While occasional nightmares are normal, frequent ones can indicate stress or anxiety in waking life. Understanding the root causes can help in managing and reducing their occurrence.

Stressful events, trauma, or even certain medications can trigger nightmares. However, there are various coping mechanisms, such as keeping a dream journal, practicing relaxation techniques, or discussing fears with a therapist.
