I keep having this dream where I fall off a massive ship into pitch-black water, and no one notices. I wake up feeling really anxious and alone. I wonder if it’s connected to fears about losing control or feeling abandoned. Anyone else have dreams about dark water or ships?

I get dreams about dark water too! It’s always so terrifying, like something is waiting to pull me under. I think it’s connected to feeling lost or facing something unknown.

Ships and dark water in dreams seem to pop up when I’m feeling overwhelmed or like I’m “over my head” with stuff in real life. Maybe it’s a fear of losing control?

This is so relatable. I once dreamt that I fell off a cruise ship and no one noticed! I think it might reflect some deep fear of being abandoned or left to face problems alone.
