I’ve noticed that dream interpretation can vary a lot between Eastern and Western cultures. For example, in the West, dreaming about death might be seen as a bad omen, while in some Eastern traditions, it can symbolize new beginnings. Does anyone have more examples of how dream symbols are interpreted differently across cultures?

I think it’s fascinating that in the West, dreams are often seen as random thoughts, while in Eastern cultures, they’re sometimes viewed as deeply symbolic or even spiritual.

From what I know, Western psychology focuses on dreams as reflections of our subconscious, while in Eastern philosophies, dreams can be linked to enlightenment or guidance from higher powers.

In the East, dreams can be part of spiritual journeys or linked to karma, while in the West, we tend to look at them through the lens of science or psychology. Both perspectives are fascinating.
