When the young girl Mara comes to live in the half deserted town of Harrow’s Haven, she learns that she has inherited an old bookstore and in that bookstore she finds an old diary of a failed alchemist who, while attempting his project, succeeded in summoning tormented zombies. In dream vision she is informed that if she wants to released the restless spirits then she must return “the heart of the forest. “ By the prompting of the fairy she discovers a large glowing crystal in the heart of the forest and uses this magical crystal to free the zombies. The manipulation of dream is completed and having woke up at the break of the dawn, Mara realizes that the dream was the resolution of the tragic history of the town and return of tranquility to the people of Harrow’s Haven.
